Following the January 2024 data breach, Trezor has been actively addressing security concerns and enhancing user protection against phishing attacks. The breach, which exposed personal data such as names and email addresses, did not compromise user funds or recovery seeds. However, the company identified attempts by attackers to deceive users into sharing their recovery seed phrases.

Trezor has since been educating its user base on the dangers of phishing and reinforcing best security practices. Users are reminded that Trezor will never ask for their recovery seed phrases via email or support channels. The company has also been working closely with the affected third-party provider to prevent future incidents and ensure the robustness of their security measures.
